Note:

In this piece, every aspect of the music is in constant motion: rhythms continuously mutate, pitches are accented with colorful harmonics, and the dynamics swell and wane in waves. Each player follows a canonic structure through different fields of pitches, sometimes crossing paths and sometimes moving in completely different harmonic directions. These pitches are not tied to fixed rhythms, but instead are placed along rhythmic gradients where players slowly transition from one rhythm to the next—hitting specified goalposts along the way. The title comes from Sandro Perri’s song “How Will I?” off of his 2011 album Impossible Spaces.
